Dear Believers,

When will I get to hear and see,
The believers be who we're supposed to be?
This world is so lost and shattered.
New ideas of morality scattered.
God intended for black and white
A clear line between wrong and right.
But it's gotten blurry as the world demands gray.
And the church stands by, not knowing what to say.
Keeping the words of the only Truth hidden
And letting them change what is already written.
We tiptoe around, making sure not to step on any toes.
Afraid to impose on the life that they chose.
We keep quiet, trying not to offend
And forget about the God we're supposed to defend.
The world wears their causes just like badges,
But with the word it never matches.
They’ve got their guns aimed to the skies,
In which the throne of our God lies.
The one who shut the mouths of lions.
Is the one that they’re trying to silence.
Why don't we speak the Truth just as boldly,
Until God's voice is heard solely?
For the sake of God's perfection
Let's gladly endure their objection.
We love them, but not their sin,
But they gave love a different spin.
If feelings are hurt, I can't apologize
Because I want to offer them a greater prize.
One that can fill them up if they let it.
All I can do is pray they don't forget it.
The Lord's guidance is what I'm looking for
To speak his Truth forevermore.
